The Journey, The Mission, The Experience
The Journey
Music grabbed me early. As a kid, I was hooked on 90s R&B, especially the New Jack Swing era and the golden age of hip hop. Back in 5th and 6th grade, my older brother used to bring me along to his friend’s house, where his good friend was an aspiring DJ. That was my first time seeing Technics 1200 turntables up close, and between that and watching DJ battles recorded on VHS, being inspired by the legendary Invisibl Skratch Piklz, I was instantly intrigued by the art and culture.
By middle school, I had linked up with my now close friends in a crew called 3 Style Attractions. At the time, they were one of the powerhouse DJ groups putting on school dances, 18th birthday cotillions, and showcases. After 7th grade I moved away, and it wasn’t until after high school that I reconnected. Around that time, I was bouncing between the Bay Area and Southern California, listening to DJs on the radio like Majestic Chris, Scotty Fox, Rick Lee, Jazzy Jim and Charlie Ramos. Down south, I was inspired by the world famous Beat Junkies DJs, Icy Ice and Melo D, who made me pay close attention to the craft of blending songs together.
After high school, I officially joined 3 Style and started helping with gigs such as weddings, house parties, showcases, and clubs. With the money I saved from working, I finally bought my first set of Technics 1200s. That moment lit the spark that carried me into nightlife gigs, private parties, and eventually the mobile DJ world. During this time, I was also training and sharpening my skills with guidance from San Diego’s 3 Style DJ Rom and Sacramento’s DJ Wreck.
From 2001 to 2008, I was active in both nightlife and mobile DJing, and also played on internet pirate radio with the Cerritos Allstars. Then from 2008 to 2020, I stepped away to focus on building my IT career, meeting my wife, and growing my family. During that time, I was mostly a bedroom DJ. But in 2020, when the world shut down, streaming DJ sets on Twitch brought me back to the decks. When things started opening up again, I jumped back into mobile DJing, growing from small backyard events to countless weddings, and eventually becoming a preferred DJ vendor on campus for Google, one of the biggest companies in the world.
Now, I’m booked almost every weekend and fully focused on weddings, corporate events, and private celebrations, bringing the same energy, passion, and love for music that first grabbed me as a kid.
The Mission
My mission is simple: create moments that matter. From curating the soundtrack of a wedding day, to driving the energy of a corporate gala, to rocking a backyard boogie, I focus on reading the crowd and delivering the right vibe. What sets me apart is versatility, attention to detail, and making sure clients get a smooth, stress-free experience from start to finish.
The Experience
When you book me, you’re not just hiring a DJ—you’re partnering with someone who takes your event seriously. I bring personalized consultations, pro-level sound systems, sharp MC skills, and the kind of professionalism that makes planning easy. I’m known for being punctual, responsive, and delivering a seamless event every time, which has built my reputation as a trusted name in the Bay Area scene.
Beyond the Booth
DJing is only one part of who I am. I’m also a husband, father, IT professional, and community member. I value family time, growth, and giving back to my craft. Outside of events, you’ll catch me training in Jiu Jitsu, working on projects, or traveling with my wife and kids.
